Friday Double Feature- Swine Flu/Windsor Palace Whoopee

Published by morganwolf at 1:19 pm under News Edit This

It’s Friday, time for a Double Feature!

First up, back to good ol’ Swine Flu.  The AP is now reporting that a top Mexican Health Official is blaming the World Health Organization (WHO) for not acting fast enough to prevent the spread of the disease, while WHO is saying that the Mexicans didn’t inform other countries fast enough, like they were told to do by WHO.  Meanwhile, Hong Kong confirmed the first case of Swine Flu in Asia, stating that they instituted a week-long quarantine of the hotel where the infected man was staying.  Surprise Surprise, the “infected man”, he is a Mexican tourist.

But apparently President Barack Obama reads my blog, because he stated that “it’s not clear that the Swine Flu is worse than any ordinary flu.”  My point all week Mr. President, how about a little credit?

And now the second half of our double feature-  Queen Elizabeth and a full contingent of the Royal Guard, not to mention hundreds of tourists, were on hand Sunday afternoon when an amorous, young, amorous, drunk, amorous couple left a nearby restaurant and went to the park that surrounds Windsor Palace.  Being so very amorous, they proceeded to … make whoopee, as Bob Eubanks used to say, in full view of the Royal Guard’s barracks windows.  In fact, one of the Guard, apparently catching a glimpse from inside, opened a window and leaned out for a better view.  Apparently feeling he was outnumbered, two-to-one and all, he called for reinforcements, and several of his fellow Guards opened and leaned out of other windows.  Of course, this being the era of Rodney King, dozens of tourists recorded the act on video and still pictures, right up to the point when the police arrived and arrested the couple for, get this, “Outraging the Public Decency”.  I think they should fight the charges, since none of the watching Guard or picture-taking tourists seemed too “outraged”.  There’s no word as to whether or not Elizabeth saw the commotion, but if she did, she at least didn’t lean out the window for a better look. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090501/ap_on_fe_st/eu_britain_castle_sex
